For travelers who have been to several waterfalls in Bali, they will probably agree that Tukad Cepung has a different charm.

The charm lies in the image of the adventure that you feel before reaching this waterfall. This journey begins with something very common to waterfall explorers.

After leaving the ticket booth, a green view of forest and jungle is right in front of your eyes. While enjoying the moment, one by one the stairs were waiting to be stepped on.

In the middle, you start to see the river flow. This river will be divided into two lanes.
One path flows naturally, which will later fall to form the Tukad Cepung waterfall. While the other flows in an artificial canal that will occasionally face several dam doors.
At this point, the atmosphere begins to look different from most waterfalls. You can also wonder where the promised waterfall is. The road that looks flat doesn't seem to show any signs of a waterfall.

Solid rock cliffs stand before your eyes. The cliff forms a passageway like a cave, but at the top there is still a gap that lets light in. Its height seems to build a sense of amazement as well as create an impression of mystery.

“Days that are considered good for melukat usually coincide with holy days. Every rahinan Purnama, Tilem, Kajeng Kliwon, even the Galungan series, quite a few come to melukat," said Kadek Tingkes. He explained that the melukat ritual should start with the offering of a pejati at the Rajapati Temple.

This area has long been considered sacred by the community. Some people who have visited also think that the aura around Tukad Cepung is very suitable as a place for spiritual activities,” he continued.
Apart from being a tourist and spiritual location, Tukad Cepung can also be a destination for those of you who like tracking and camping.
Tracking in this area will take about two hours.
