Dewata Island or well known as Bali is an island with a thousand temples with a very beautiful extraordinary building. No wonder if some temples as Hinduism place to worship is also has a magnetism for tourist to come just to take a picture or join the ceremony as well.
The most interesting Temple is Lempuyang Temple. The name of the temple comes from two words, namely Lamp and Hyang. Lamp means Light and Hyang means God. Lempuyang Temple is the oldest and one of the sacred temples on the island. Lempuyang temple has seven temples in the main complex. Some tourists called Lempuyang Temple as The Door to Heaven because of its amazing panorama and also The Mount Agung eruption helped increase the visitor. It's only from a safe distance, which is 19 km from the eruption point, tourists can enjoy the magical peak when the smoke of the Gunung Agung peak rises and you can see it through the top of Lempuyang Luhur Temple.
Lempuyang Luhur Temple is located in Lempuyang Village, Karangasem, East Bali. It's only 14 km away from Tirta Gangga Royal Water Garden and it takes two hours driving away from Ubud.

You have to climb more than 1,700 (one thousand seven hundred) steps to get to the top. It takes extra effort to get to the summit, but the lush trees, birds chirping in the wild and wild monkeys appear to be hanging make these treats become a great traveling!
